Our Story
Jai Kanwar Foundation was founded in 2023 with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a world where every cow is treated with dignity, care, and respect. What started as a small group of passionate volunteers has grown into one of India's most trusted cow welfare organizations.
Our founder, Jai Kanwar, witnessed the plight of abandoned and injured cows on the streets of Delhi and knew something had to be done. With limited resources but unlimited determination, he gathered a team of veterinarians and volunteers to begin rescue operations.
Today, we operate multiple rescue centers across India, employing over 100 dedicated staff members and collaborating with thousands of volunteers. Our comprehensive approach combines emergency rescue, medical treatment, shelter care, and community education to create lasting change.
